The option to heat the pool was just what we needed for this breezy spring break. We enjoyed the warmth of the community pool as well. We spent hours outside on the patio playing games and eating. The house was extremely clean and well cared for. Thank you for a great stay!

This is the third year in this beautiful home. We enjoy this home because it is clean, neat, and features a nice, secluded, full sun, and heated pool. We work with Travel Life and if there’s any concerns- one being one day the pool heater didn’t work - within a couple of hours, the heater was turned back on and all was well.

15 family members. 7 under 10 yrs old. Family Reunion. Perfect set up. The pool was great. The golf cart was very convenient. Beaches were stunningly gorgeous. We had an amazing time. There were a couple issues, I texted, they were taken care of promptly.

Great home in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach. We loved the large rooms and the comfortable living area. The outdoor space was wonderful with lots of seating, and the pool was the perfect size. We did not need the heater.
Note: we had a large group, so we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. (Only 1 roll provided per bathroom.) Also- bring salt and pepper if you plan to eat in.
Overall this was a great place to spend a week. Our whole group loved the accommodations.

We’ve stayed here two consecutive years now and this house is excellent for several couples staying together due to the number of king rooms and bathrooms. Every year we take a trip with ~5 couples and 4 children and this house works perfectly. My only wish is that it was closer to the beach- but given the reasonable price and bedrooms we are likely to book again next year!

Home beautiful, perfect for our family! Owner reachable and prompt with all needs, questions, and concerns. A dust pan would have been great- found broom but no dust pan. Was told there were two blow dryers in house but only found one. Loved the pool, outside shower, and golf cart! A drying rack on back patio would be good along with additional hooks in bathrooms. Thank you for everything! We would love to visit again!

Spacious enough for 8 adults and 6 children with beach time in am and pool in afternoon and evening. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. Needed to stagger some grocery purchases due to size of group. Bedrooms were great with king size en-suites but some mattresses will need replaced soon. Golf cart was very helpful with runs to the beach.

We all had so much fun! It had pretty much anything we needed! Just a few suggestions would be… have at least 1 full propane tank for grill.. there was 4 there but all were empty so we had to use stove to make our burgers and hot dogs. Pool was ‘cloudy’ half the time but did clear up after Weds when the guys treated it. We didn’t realize the construction guys would be starting their work at 7a every day but we dealt with it. Other than that, all was great and we’d definitely all stay here again in the future!

Hi Sue, Thank you for the feedback about your stay. I apologize that the propane tank ran out. I wish that you would have let us know, we would have gladly bought you a full one and removed the empty ones. We do have 2 cleanings a week for the pools. Unfortunately the weather can play a role in the pool becoming cloudy in-between cleanings. As for the construction I completely understand that can but a damper on things but it is out of own control. We are happy that you had fun and enjoyed all the amenities. Brought our adult kids and their kids in to celebrate Christmas. We had a great time, from easy access to the beach to the heated pool out back which saw lots of use. Everyone had a bedroom and plenty of space to gather and play. The house is “well loved” but extremely clean and neat. Cannot say enough good things about Travel Life Vacations, their courtesy and professionalism and ease of working with them. Their communications were very prompt and good follow through. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues which they very promptly corrected. Would recommend them for future vacations.

Every year we plan a girls trip to Destin and this house we stayed in was perfect for us. There were 12 of us ladies and the house was beautifully decorated very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. We love the location of the house, but it was a little bit of a walk from the house to the beach but the golf cart was a game changer. It really made all the difference.

Lovely home in a great neighborhood directly across the street from the beach. Great kitchen for cooking and gathering. Only complain from our group was that some of the beds were too soft and others too hard. Despite this, I would gladly rent this property again.

Family vacation totalling 15 people, was secluded which we liked in the neighborhood, perfect size for kids and adults. Only recommendation is to add another refrigerator and checkin needs to be 4pm at the latest. 5pm is a late time when traveling in.

The house was wonderful, being in a gated community. It is close to everything, especially the beach. The golf cart was very convenient. Yes, there are lots of rules that go along with this rental, but if it were my home, I'd probably have the same rules. We did not heat the pool as it was the last week of May, and the water was warmer than expected. We arrived late-ish, at 8:30 pm. We had an issue with the internet upon arrival. I texted and they fixed it remotely the next morning, and it worked for the remainder of our stay. The AC worked perfectly the entire trip and kept the house very cool. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice that every room was a "suite"...each with its own bathroom (along with two "spare" bathrooms, one on each floor). The house was clean, has lots of space and everyone had a great time. Loved the covered porch, which was also large, as it rained a couple of times, yet we could still enjoy each other's company outdoors. A couple of texts to the rental company went unanswered, but they were really just to relay information to them. One of our trash cans went missing after they were emptied at the end of the drive on trash day. The parking was enough for 4 mid-size SUVs (snugly), but I would recommend backing into the drive to make exiting easier. There is no place to really turn around. Not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this rental to any family looking for a great place to stay while in Destin, and we would love to return again!

Exactly what we wanted - a heated pool (that was actually heated!), a clean and well-maintained home, a six-passenger golf cart, a well- equipped kitchen, and privacy. We have rented houses at least once per year for over a decade and this house is one of the best!

Overall nice. Disappointed we were told the property we initially reserved became unavailable the day before we traveled and were relocated to a similar property. More pool towels would be nice. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Tupperware was very helpful. Would be nice to have reusable plastic cups and plates for poolside. We reported a broken bed on arrival. No real response. Asked to clean grill after use but too far gone already. Extra container for recycleables would help.

The house was big enough for all 13 of my family members to stay and have room for the week we stayed. It's conveniently located in the back of the neighborhood and the golf cart is perfect for most places you need to go. I would definitely stay here again.

An unforseen problem occurred within the home forcing us to leave 2 days before our week was up. Mike, representing the property manager, was an eleven out of ten handling the situation. Not only was Mike prompt in returning calls he secured us another home more beautiful than Destin Sun (if that was possible) and paid the difference so we could enjoy our last 2 days in Destin. The property was just as described and check-in was effortless. Property management was very attentive and made sure that everything was to our liking. I did contact Ryan after we discovered that the light over the stove was out. He responded promptly and sent someone out the next day to replace it. We were a family group with my mom (80's) Sister and brother (50's) and our children ranging in age from 9-29 plus a 4 year old grandchild. Everyone said their beds were comfortable and it was great that all the adults had an ensuite. We made great use of the pool as well as the golf cart. The house is in the back of the neighborhood and there was only one home adjoining the property so it really was the most secluded home I have ever rented in Destin. There was a large beach access and parking however we used the golf cart to drop off people and chairs etc and parked by the clubouse as the lot was usually full. The beach had plenty of room unlike a few blocks west where most of it was designated private and there was only a skinny strip where everyone from the inland rental homes could set up umbrellas and chairs. The only suggestion I would have is to upgrade the bath towels. They were plentiful however they are showing some age and are a bit worn (no holes) and rough/scratchy. Be advised that there are no pantry items in the kitchen. Other homes I have rented always had some spices, salt and pepper, oil etc. in the pantry that renters leave for the next family. They do have a roll of paper towels, sponge and a couple dishwasher pods. This was a great house and I would stay here again.

The property was nothing short of wonderful! We enjoyed are stay not only at the home but in the gated community. The location to the beach was so convenient and the Crab Trap is a great restaurant. The location of the home in that secluded lot makes it so cozy too! We will definitely stay in this home again!

My family of 16, 8 adults and 8 kids, ages 4 thru 13 spent a week at the Destin Sun house .....it was perfect....located in a gated community, at the very end of the addition back a lane, we had absolute privacy....only other house was on one side of our house..other 3 sides had no one....all enjoyed the private pool, and the large community area on the lower level. Adults all had their own master bedroom/baths....plus two other rooms for all the kids....just 5 minutes or so from the beach....close to lots of restaurant options....would recommend it for any family our size....

We have stayed at many places, but none have been as clean as this home. It felt like home, a extra fully stocked kitchen, pool outside the door, great for a large family (with 5 king size beds), a wonderful bedroom for the kids to share bunk beds (they loved being together in one room), and the 6 passenger golfcart, was a real plus!!

Fantastic house in a great location with easy access to the beach! The house was very clean and had ample space for our group of 9.
The golf cart provided is a very nice touch! Ample parking for 4-5 sedans. Private Secluded home at the end of a quiet community.
Don't think about cooking any seafood in this home, per the house rules. A grill is provided however.
We had slight concerns about the high voltage power lines sitting directly in front of the property, separated by adequate fencing.
Ample supplies of bath tissue and bath linens were provided for our group size.
The property manager was responsive when called to address a dripping kitchen faucet and a slow bath drain.
We will highly recommend Ryan and this very lovely and quiet home.

We stayed here for a week and the property met our expectations and more! Paying extra for the heated pool was worth it! It was pretty cool the week we went and our kids took full advantage of every minute of the pool. Mike the property manager was very easy to get ahold of and always made sure everything was functioning properly. The golf cart is a wonderful extra! The kids loved going on golf cart rides to the beach! The house is set in and very secluded which was great! We didn't have any trouble with parking. We grew up on the farm so driving in reverse is never a problem. This property is by far my favorite and we will book again here in the future!

We had an amazing stay. The house was perfect and just what we needed. The property manager was very prompt in responding to our texts about outdoor outlets not working and glass on the patio from a broken patio table. The only downfall (which we knew when we booked this home) was the lack of supplies. Also, there were dishes in the dishwasher that were caked in food that we were unable to get clean. We would definitely stay here again.

The home is very secluded in the back corner of the neighborhood. Property was very clean and accomodating. We had 3 families in the home and it was spacious enough for all of us. We also have a child in a wheelchair and the 1st floor and back pool area was very accomodating for her. The golfcart was perfect for getting to the beach quickly, access to the beach was great.

There was 16 of us. Everything was perfect. The house was super clean. The bedsheets smelled amazing!!! We were out by the pool a lot. With16 of us someone was always in the pool. Was a short drive in the golf cart to the beach. I was a little nervous when I got there and realized the thermostat couldn’t be adjusted below 70 degrees but it wasn’t a problem the house stayed cool. I would definitely rent from them again!

Beautiful Destin home a 1/2 mile walk from the breathtaking gulf waters! Perfect family vacay spot for a fun-filled week! We had three generations on this trip and this house worked well. Nicely decorated and a huge kitchen, LR, DR area! The pool fit our needs was very clean with comfy furniture. The 6 passenger golf cart is always a handy option for running around and hauling stuff to the beach. Destin is a true family friendly town!

Property was great for a big family. Property is located down an alley at the back of the community and is very private. The only issue was having no place to turn around. Vehicles had to back down a narrow and long alley which was not great. The next door neighbor was not very friendly and if we tried to use a small portion of his driveway to turn around he would park his vehicles at the very end of the driveway. Although the property overall was great the parking was less than adequate. A turnaround area would help greatly since the alley cannot be widened.

We are sorry to hear about the parking situation. When this home was built, we tried to include as many parking spots as possible to accommodate our guests. Parking is always an issue with beach homes along the Emerald Coast as the lot sizes are not very big, which constricts parking. The house was secluded and very quiet but also close to the beach. The golf cart that came with the rental was perfect and made going to the beach easy and fast. Less than 2 minutes to the beach by golf cart. The pool area was great for hanging out and the pool was perfect for the family. The kids enjoyed the pool immensely. Perfect size for our group of four kids and nine adults. House was as advertised and very nice. The bedrooms were as described, clean and each of the king beds had its own bathroom. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Destin. If we go back we will be sure to book the same place.

This was a great property. It was impeccably clean. The rooms were large and all of them pretty much had their own full size bathroom. You never felt cramped or on top of one another. The pool was an amazing amenity that really made the trip even more amazing. I mean who doesn’t want to be swimming in a pool at the beach with palm trees during Christmas. It was 6 couples that came down from Indiana for the week. We’re all a little older (45-60), so we enjoyed how close everything was in location. The house and pool was perfect! The beds were comfy, everything was clean. Plenty of towels were available for all of us to shower. The property manager was very responsive with the battery on the smoke detector and the WiFi. WiFi was already a known situation and it was repaired within a day. I would absolutely recommend this house and especially this Ryan as a house manager!

This is a perfect option for a family vacation. A brand new golf cart makes it easy and fun to reach the pristine beach in minutes. The private pool in the back yard provides endless entertainment for the adults and children. The kitchen is well stocked and facilitates meal prep and dining for the entire family. The covered back patio provides much needed shade to watch the fun at the pool. This is a luxury home that is tucked away providing privacy and seclusion. Another huge benefit is that there are bedrooms on the main floor. That is so helpful for older family members. Our family enjoyed our week in this home again this year.

This house is very roomy. Pics online just don’t do it justice. Every bedroom has a bathroom and all beds super comfy. I never heard any of my family from our room. Nice linens on all of the beds. Plenty of towels for bathrooms. . The bunk room was super cool for the kids. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect for our adult kids that have a baby...right across from one another and plenty of privacy. The pool and patio area was perfect after a long day at the beach. The 6 seater golf cart was so much fun and an absolute must for getting us to the beach each day. I would highly recommend this house to anyone with large families.

We had a wonderful time at Destin Sun! The owners were very responsive and super helpful, even leading up to our stay. During this uncertain time, we felt very safe heading to this home. It was clean, well equipped and furnished and in a great location. The complimentary golf cart provided was totally clutch for lugging everything to the beach. We had a great week!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely property. The owner/manager was very helpful and easy to work with. He communicated promptly and was understanding when we experienced issues. He rapidly brought in assistance when we had a need and quickly solved our problem. The location is excellent. The neighborhood is extremely safe, the house is very close to the beach, and the private pool was wonderful for the kids. Our Destin experience was great and this is due in no small part to this great property. Thank you very much.

Terrific house with great amenities! The golf cart was a huge plus! House was clean and nicely decorated. The pool area was very private as was the location of the house itself. Quick trip to the beach. Loved the bar at the Crab Shack as well. Right on the beach. Great if you wanted to get out of the sun for awhile and enjoy an appetizer or cold brew. One thing the owner needed to fix was a shower in one of the bedrooms. The water did not get hot, so we ended up showering in the hall bathroom. Not a big deal for us, but can think of some others where it would be. Owner was notified and was in the process of rectifying. Would definitely rent this house again in the future.

Hello Stephanie! I am so thrilled to hear that you all had a great time :) It is always nice to know our guests have a good time and enjoy the home and area. I am glad you enjoy the Crab Trap too! It so so convenient to have that restaurant right there next to the beach access! And as far as the shower goes, the valve was just backwards, water got hot, but it had to be on cold! It was reversed, so weird, but it did have hot water, I wish we would have known so you could have still used that shower! Well, we do really hope to have you all back again in the future, thank you and have a great rest of the year. Until next time :)

The house was clean and the amenities were very nice! We loved the heated pool and outdoor area. There were plenty of towels. We loved the kids room and the fact that the other rooms all had king size beds. The golf cart was great to have too. All around it was a great stay!
