The well-equipped kitchen and adjacent dining room make entertaining simple, while 4 thoughtfully arranged bedrooms provide a calming space for guests to settle in throughout their stay. Whether enjoying unhurried mornings by the water or unwinding after a day at the beach, the home’s warm coastal style supports an easy, relaxing experience.

Outdoors, the private pool and spa overlook the lake, with comfortable loungers and a firepit set across the back patio for both daytime relaxation and evening gatherings. A staircase leads down to a peaceful dock that creates a quiet spot to enjoy the water and take in the scenery. Public beach access at Whale’s Tail is just a short walk away, about 6 minutes on foot or a 5-minute ride using the complimentary 6-passenger golf cart (LSV). Home Layout and Bedroom Details:

1st Floor:

Kitchen: This kitchen maximizes functionality with a kitchen island and bar seating for 4. Included are stainless steel Samsung appliances and a 5-burner gas range, double toaster, Keurig, coffeepot, crockpot, griddle, and blender, as well as all the normal utensils and cookware. It is fully stocked and ready to cook for large families.

Dining Room: A formal dining room table is adjacent to the kitchen and can seat up to 8 guests. Not only can you see the TV from this space, but it also has a front-row view of the backyard and pool.

Living Room: This cozy living room is right next to the dining room and has a full-sized sofa, a loveseat, and 2 accent chairs. Watch your favorite shows on the large 55-inch, 4K flat-screen TV.

Bedroom + Bathroom #1: It has a queen-sized bed, dresser, 2 nightstands, and a flat-screen TV. It also has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Bathroom #2: This is an easily accessible bathroom adjacent to the laundry room, including a walk-in shower.

Laundry Room: Located downstairs is a washer and a dryer. You will find all of the towels stored here.

Backyard: Your own lakefront oasis awaits you. Enjoy the saltwater pool and spa or take advantage of the home’s beautiful dock over the lake.

2nd Floor:

Bedroom #2: This room is a bunk room that includes a full/full bunk, dresser, and flat-screen TV. This bedroom shares Bathroom #2 with Bedroom #3, accessible from the hallway.

Bedroom + Bathroom #3: This bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dresser, 2-night stands, and a flat-screen TV. This attached bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway.

Bedroom + Bathroom #4: This master bedroom has a king-sized bed, dresser, 2 nightstands, accent chairs, and a flat-screen TV. It has a spacious, private bathroom with a walk-in shower and freestanding tub. It is complete with a private balcony that boasts a lake view.

House Rules:
-This is a NON-smoking property.

Student Booking Policies:
-College student groups must all inquire and get approval before booking. Rates for student groups are subject to change; the price will be determined upon inquiry.
-If a college student group is accepted, they will be subject to a $100.00 fully refundable damage deposit per person.
-Golf carts are not included for groups under the age of 25 or college student groups.

Pets:
-This home is pet-friendly, up to 30lb in size, but all pets must be approved and are subject to a pet fee of $150 per pet. Please request approval before booking.

Parking:
-All cars must be in the driveway. 4 cars maximum. No Trailers, RVs, Scooters, Boats, or Motorcycles are permitted per HOA rules.

So, the only complaint I have is that we didn’t book for two weeks instead of one! The host was very responsive. The home was gorgeous and spacious. Next door, there is construction going on so my entire car was covered in saw dust but that is not at fault of this particular place and I would still stay again even with the mess my car had on it. The construction did not disturb us in the least bit. The views were gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, and I loved the decoration within the home. We loved our stay.

The property was beautiful and very spacious. The company was quick to respond. We had issues with the golf cart. Tires were bald and we blew a tire while driving it. It was fixed quickly but ahould not have waited that long to get fixed.

Great house. great location. Great time!

This vacation was so nice. The latest reviews had us worried about coming but we had a magnificent time. Yes there is construction next door but you’re at the beach. The view was awesome. House was great. Come with a golf cart. The management company has changed so look for correspondence from Travel Life Vacations. That isn’t stated well in the current listing and cause some concern when I wasn’t hearing from the booking prior to arriving. But they are wonderful and very responsive. We will be back to this house and Destin. There was something for everyone.

Great house and location!

Came here for a bachelorette trip. We loved the house, it was very spacious, everyone had a bed and bathroom and the kitchen dining room/living room was spacious as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pans which was nice. Only thing that I gave a star off for was that we didn't know they were doing construction next to the house. Luckily they were only there the first day we got there. We also wish that there were trash bags easily available to us but we made due with what we had. The hot tub was amazing and the both the pool and hot tub heated up pretty quickly so it was always ready for when we wanted to go in. Overall, we would definitely book this house again. The hosts were super nice and answered right away!

Family vacation

Beautiful home and great location. We enjoyed having the pool right there and being close to the beach as well. We were happy with all the amenities provided. Kitchen was stocked well for making meals and beds were quite comfortable. Host communicated well and was very responsive. I would highly recommend. This was our first visit to Destin and we hope to return and stay here again!

Perfect Location

If you’re looking to rest and relax, this is the perfect spot. Whether it’s by the pool, relaxing at the dock staring at the lake, or a 5 minute walk to the beach - this location has it all. Sara was so friendly and welcoming & always quick to respond to questions. We rented a golf cart, but it definitely wasn’t necessary as the Crab Trap is right across from the neighborhood entrance. Definitely want to return back to Destin and can’t think of a better place to stay!

Perfect location!

First time to Destin and we will be back! The house was wonderful but even better was Sara! So responsive to everything we needed. The house is more spacious than si anticipated. We had 9 people and had plenty of room. Beach is right outside the neighborhood so not much to walk however you may want to drive if your taking a lot of kids suff. Overall we will be back! Perfect house for what we like to do!

Family Trip 2023

This was our first time to Destin, 1st VRBO and 1st family vacation with our grandsons. The home and location was perfect for 7 adults and 2 little boys. Sara and Carlos were very accommodating and always responded to us immediately. We loved the lake view, quiet area and short walk to the beach. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful house and location!

The communication with host was probably the best I’ve ever experienced! The house was clean and beautiful! The beach is close enough to walk to it. Couple things to know before you go. Hot tub doesn’t get super hot. Only goes to 90 so on a cold day it’s chilly! Also plan to buy toilet paper and possibly dish soap and laundry detergent. There wasn’t much when we arrived so before trip was over we had to get all those items for our use. Overall I would stay here again!! The beds were so so comfortable and I miss them!!

Calme et enchantement

Les pieds dans l'eau de la Ria d'Etel, à 20 minutes d'Auray et de Carnac, 30 minutes de Lorient et de Vannes, 45 minutes de Quiberon, cette location est idéalement placée pour visiter le Morbihan. Les amateurs de pêche à pied seront également ravis. Accueil sympathique dans cette grande maison, le jardin se prête aux jeux d'été, et les repas au bord de l'eau sont plus qu'appréciés !

Great property in quiet location

We had a fabulous holiday, the house was as described in a lovely location. The garden is fairly flat leading to the sea via a set of steps, when the tide is in you can swim directly from the steps, when the tide is out you can collect cockles and eat them for your dinner. The house is great for your holiday with plenty of space, the beds could perhaps be updated (very squeeky and mattresses are old) however we did sleep really well so not a complaint, just an observation! We are very familiar with the local area and when we come back to the area again I would happily come back to this house. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
